"... To see them strive to complete the tasks and challenges you set up for them was awesome. They worked harder than they ever have and came away feeling very proud of what they accomplished... you believe in your heart that they are capable, but this trip proved it to all of us."

Conflict Resolution

updated March 8, 2008

Grades 5-Adult

This program is a hands-on approach to learning conflict resolution skills.

It combines group sessions with Team Challenge activities designed to explore and practice the skills discussed.

By coming to an understanding of why conflict happens and learning techniques to resolve conflicts in a positive manner, participants will be better equipped to resolve conflicts in their personal lives as well as in mediation with peers.

Conflict Resolution programs are more effective the more time students are given to practice and process.  The minimum program time is 3 hours.

Curriculum We Cover:
- What is conflict?
- What is my conflict resolution style?
- Boiling down the issues
- Steps for resolving conflict
- Where can I go for help?
- Peer Mediation
