Assistant Staff is the transition year between ILT/CB and becoming an IAWAH staff member. Assistant Staff offers the opportunity to get focused “on the job” training to work at IAWAH.

Assistant Staff is for 17 year old youth. This summer of growth consists of one week of focused training alongside the summer staff after which Assistant Staff serve 2-4 weeks of practicum in the summer.  Opportunities for service will be tailored throughout the summer to individual readiness and giftedness. Personal coaching, assessment and feedback will be provided to effectively empower the Assistant Staff to transition fully into IAWAH Staff.

Individuals who take part in Assistant Staff will have the opportunity to grow personally in their faith and receive IAWAH specific training appropriate to succeed in their roles.  Assistant Staff may choose to receive volunteer hours for their service or weekly compensation. 

All ROOTs and Assistant Staff applicants are invited to the Spring Primer March 9-11, 2012. Details to be released in February.
